The pandemic and a switch to remote work significantly impacted our health and general life satisfaction. We had to readjust to a new reality and find a balance between our private and work lives. Our team feels responsible for supporting staff members and offering solutions to strengthen their mental health. That’s why we introduced a mental wellness platform that allows our team to find personalized ways to deal with struggles they might be experiencing.
Thanks to this program, each employee can schedule up to eight 1:1 sessions with certified mental health professionals, licensed clinical therapists, or financial well-being coaches per year.
On top of that, our employees can engage in various support groups, stress management workshops, and meditation exercises. This benefit helps our staff to stay motivated and find someone to talk to when dealing with difficulties.
Working from home can be great, but sometimes there is just too much going on to stay focused. By offering to pay for co-working spaces for your employees, you can do them a huge favor with their work efficiency.

This is a great way to show employees we care about their health and well-being, and want them to take care of themselves, no matter where they are.This benefit works especially well for remote employees because they can take care of themselves without additional costs to the company. We want our employees to be in the best possible shape, mentally and physically, to do their best work.
Lunch Via the Thanksmatters Card
Remote team members often get left out of the in-office lunches. Whether it’s a team meeting, birthday, or company lunch, remote individuals are often forgotten.
We use an employee engagement platform, which includes the “ThanksMatters Card,” and send funds to their ThanksMatters Visa. This delivers the money in real-time and lets our team order delivery or eat out. It’s a small benefit but helps them feel included instead of like the outcast.
Option to Work Four Days a Week
A new employee benefit that I have introduced to employees working from home is the option to work four days a week instead of five. This gives employees more flexibility in their personal lives while still allowing them to get their work done.

We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to reward our team members, and we just introduced a new benefit that I think they’ll love.
Who doesn’t love cafes? We know the places our employees love going, which is why we’re now offering local café memberships so that they can get free food and an awesome atmosphere while working from their favorite places. This is especially beneficial for our remote team—they will always be able to work from their cozy spot in the town.
The entire team is really excited about the membership, and we think it will help increase productivity and employee satisfaction!

Workstation Setup for Remote Employees
A new employee benefit that we’ve introduced is the option to have a workstation setup for employees who work from home.
It can be distracting to work from home, and we want to make sure that our employees are comfortable and productive when they’re working remotely. We also recently provided $500 for each of our remote workers to get a desk, chair, and other things they need to feel like they’re in the office—and we’ve seen an increase in productivity as a result!
Recently, because our company is now remote, we implemented an internet stipend for all our full-time employees. This stipend helps our employees cover the cost of home internet which is essential to our business.
What we have found is that many employees are using this money to upgrade their internet which has led to fewer interruptions on Zoom calls and meetings. This has been a great ROI on this benefit and while helping our employees, we have helped our business better serve our customers.
Meal-Kit Delivery Services
Everyone loves good food, and remote employees are no exception. Delicious, healthy snacks can turn a simple home office into a cool workplace where everyone can flourish.These days, remote work is the new normal, and caterers now are perfectly aware of that fact.
