A resume is a summary of someone’s past. It lists employers, degrees, certifications, and responsibilities. What it doesn’t always capture is problem-solving ability, technical aptitude, communication skills, or the capacity to learn new processes under pressure.
I’ve interviewed candidates who looked average on paper but excelled during practical assessments or structured interviews. I’ve also seen highly polished resumes fail to translate into workplace performance.
